Jamie's Shoes This piece was inspired by a photograph taken by the daughter of a friend of mine. She was on a trip to England and France, and made a study of photographing her black and white Converse shoes in a host of interesting places. The texture of the paving and the curb here, along with the lone weed spoke to me immediately. I knew I needed to make a mosaic of this! Pebbles, granite and other stone, smalti, ceramic, hand-formed concrete substrate. This piece measures 16.5" x 12.5". ©2009, Lynn Adamo. Photo by Loren Nelson.
