Merci, Matisse I have these ceramic extruded shapes I made, glazed with my favorite blue-black glaze. I have lots of luscious smalti. I want to put them together in a new way. But how? Browsing through a book "Matisse, His Art and His Textiles" gave me inspiration. Seeing those shapes and colors of his paper cutouts got the juices flowing. Sometimes you need little jumpstart from a master to get your own puzzle pieces to fit together. Handmade extruded ceramic circles and squares, stone, smalti, glass rods.
