Morrocan-inspired table Once again, my friend Kris Moore came up with a great project idea. He found this interesting table at a thrift store. Originally a deep red with a faux-cane design painted on, he envisioned a lovely custom mosaic top for this piece. He painted the base a dark grey, and set me loose to design a top. After several design ideas, we settled on this one. Incorporated in the tesserae is a wonderful orange variegated vase that Kris also found. I smashed it up into great tesserae!
